Letterpress Love Notes for Valentine’s Day (or Any Day!) | January 24, 2013
About a year ago, I submitted the below stationery design to Minted for consideration in its personal stationery assortment. I really loved it, but unfortunately it did not get chosen for sale.
Instead of just leaving the design in the reject pile, I decided to modify it slightly and letterpress print it to make sets of everyday love notes. Although I do not often participate in the greeting card or everyday stationery market, I figured these notes would be a hit for Valentines’ Day! I really love how they turned out! Each note is hand printed in a bright cherry red on Crane Lettra 110# paper. I would be so excited to receive one of these special notes in the mail!
